6″ encaustic by Webbs Tileries, Worcester stock code 6030

These 6″ encaustic tiles are from Webbs Tileries, Worcester. This company was based at Rainbow Hill, Worcester in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. They made and decorated their own tiles with a series of registered designs, and also supplied many blank tiles to other for decoration, including Wedgwood.
